Utility Investor Outlook, Mergers, and Private Equity
Private equity has become an increasingly prominent source of funding for utilities delivering essential services such as electricity, natural gas, and water. CRA Vice Presidents Matthew DeCourcey and Kurt Strunk will share insights from recent take-private transactions and other utility mergers, walk through the regulatory approval process, and examine the factors that have led regulators to approve, condition, or reject transactions.

PJM Capacity Market Update and Outlook
An in-depth examination of the factors that prompted the White House and 13 governors to intervene directly in PJM’s capacity market. CRA experts Jeff Plewes and Emma Nicholson will discuss how this intervention, co-location, and large load interconnections could affect resource adequacy and capacity costs in PJM.
